Speakers and Topics

D.J. Huenenman

Mr. Huenenman is an educator with Ruah Woods Press, which provides academic curricula on Theology of the Body. He will give talks on the curricula as well as speak to parents and youth. He is outstanding! D.J. works full time for Ruah Woods Press. He is an international speaker on the Theology of the Body and a published author. He is also director of the Stewardship Foundation and speaks to youth about the dangers of pornography. 

Mr. Huenemann will speak from his experience in coaching, teaching and mentoring youth, providing much-needed practical information and advice. He will also give a presentation that is both spiritually and content rich, providing a foundation on the work of Pope John Paul II in developing Theology of the Body. This is education on self-knowledge, respect, relationships, integrity and morality for today’s Catholics and Christians.  An overview of the depth of the teachings will be provided while also summarizing the impact they have on today’s culture.

Ruah Woods Press K-12 curriculum material overview and information on training opportunities and implementation in your parish or school will be included upon request.

Cynthia J. Wood, J.D.

Cynthia J. Wood presents her new training course, “Find Your Assertive Voice: Preventing and Addressing Sexual Harassment.”

Cynthia serves as the National Operations Coordinator for Feminists for Life of America (FFL). Prior to FFL, she worked for the federal government for 35 years as a trainer for numerous workshops, including Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH), Effective Communication, and team-building and leadership workshops. Cynthia received a law degree from University of Houston Law Center in 1999. She has been a Bar Member of the D.C. Court of Appeals, Virginia, and Florida. She is married and has four children.

Cynthia will speak from her extensive experience on confidently handling relationships, situations, friendships, authority figures. She will share practical advice about harassment prevention, provide an overview of legal protections available, and deliver information about ongoing programs for further personal development.
